If you cannot find the title you need, we can usually borrow it from another library. Use the interlibrary loan form to request the titles you are looking for and library staff will work to get the materials delivered to your preferred campus location. The item will be borrowed through your Blackhawk Library Account. This service is available to current Blackhawk Technical College students, faculty, and staff.

You can search and place requests all in the WISCAT catalog. This will give you access to materials from multiple libraries across the state. All items will be shipped for free to BTC Central campus. 

•  Go to the WISCAT catalog
• Search the catalog. There are a few options for what you search:
  • Title Search
  • All headings: keyword search if you are looking for materials on a certain topic

• Click on the item record you want to request:

• Click on 'Request Item' button leave the auto-filled section and add in required fields:
  • Need By Date
  • Create Password, you will use this password if you want to check in on the status of your interlibrary loan shipment. You do not need the password to log-in again or to borrow your item when it arrives. 
  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Library Card Number: same as your 9-Digit student/staff ID number

• You will be contacted via your Blackhawk email address when the item has arrived at the Blackhawk Technical College Library.
