There are two book collections available in the CARE Center and in the IDEA Lounge on Central Campus. Books can be borrowed for free.

How to Borrow Books 

Students can use an ID (BTC student ID card or a government issued photo ID) to borrow items. Borrow items from staff in the CARE Center and in the Student Success Center at the Library Desk (room 2200, Central Campus). 

Renewing Your Loan

Most items can be borrowed for 4 weeks at a time, If no one else is waiting for them, many materials loans can be renewed so you can keep them for longer. You can renew:

• Online in the Encore Library catalog in your library account 
• In person at any the Central Campus Learning Commons Library desk in the Student Success Center (room 2200)
• By calling the library 1-608-757-7705
• Request via email library@blackhawk.edu 

You will receive a new due date via your Blackhawk email.
