  • Research assignments from topic development to evaluating and using sources. We can help you find sources for your assignment (papers, speeches and presentations)

Library Research Assistance Appointments

Getting research assistance can answer your specific questions quickly and easily and/or give you in-depth guided help for many of your courses. Sessions can be 5 to 30 minutes. You can attend appoints virtually via Zoom or in-person. 

 You must schedule your appointment by 5 PM the day before. Schedule a session here. To schedule a session:

  • Pick a location(in-person at Student Success Center or online via Zoom). The librarian will contact you with a Zoom link before the appointment time.
  • Tell us more about what you need help with, you may include details about your assignment, your research topic or question.

If you need help outside of regular hours, use the online library chat service to get help at anytime! 

  • To chat with the BTC Librarian, click on 'Start Chat' button in the Learning Commons Librarian profile
  • To chat 24/7 with a librarian including local librarians when available and librarians nationwide, click on 'Ask Us'
